Support ICAN & Donate Today, Kids get arthritis too!

We are 100% volunteer based. No one takes a salary from iCAN – 100% of all funds raised go towards making things better for kids in Ireland with Arthritis!

Flagship project:

iCAN Make Rheum for Crumlin
iCAN is raising funds for Ireland’s first ever dedicated medical facility for treating Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis at Crumlin’s Children’s Hospital, Dublin. iCAN has already funded the first dedicated treatment room for JIA at Crumlin in February 2013. It is a small room on the Medical Day ward with a treatment bed and supplies trolly. iCAN has also funded two infusion chairs. These infusion chairs are much more comfortable than a bed for sitting long hours while receiving IV infusions for the treatment of JIA.
The equipment for the dedicated JIA unit in Crumlin’s Children’s Hospital will be transferable to the new National Children’s Hospital.
Having a dedicated unit for JIA will mean great continuity of care for patients, ready access to beds and facilities for the children in treatment, and a permanent, central point for the Pediatric Rheumatology team to be based.
If you wish your donation to go directly to the iCAN Make Thrum for Crumlin project, please simply indicate this preference when donating. Thank you!

Other iCAN Projects:

iCAN also uses donations to fund our annual iCAN Family Day, on the printing of information leaflets and other national events specifically for children with JIA in Ireland. As iCAN is 100% volunteer, all funds raised and donations made go directly on projects and events to benefit children with JIA and their families.

How can you get involved?
